بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اَللّهُِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
During this auspicious Night of Bara’ah, multitudes of people are forgiven. Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala emancipates thousands of souls this night from the fire of Jahannum (bara’ah means emancipation) … Allah focuses His special attention towards those seeking his forgiveness during this night. So many are forgiven that are equivalent to the number of strands of hair on the goats of the Banu Kalb tribe (a very large tribe with a huge number of livestock). However, there are some who are not forgiven and are deprived of the blessings of this great night … Unless they make amends and totally refrain from their particular evil traits :
• Those who harbour enmity
• Those who worship idols (idolater)
• Those who break family ties
• Those who disobey parents
• Those who are perpetual alcoholics
• Those who commit adultery
• Those who commit murders
Moulana, narrated a very intriguing story of Maalik bin Dinar R.A and his transformation from a drunkard to becoming a Wali of Allah …
A man who made sincere Taubah (repentance) giving us (sinners) ‘true hope’ in the Mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala despite our weakness.

…“Concentrate on the Greatness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala … Say La’illaha’illallah … Negate and remove all the filth we have in our hearts … Anger, pride, jealousy, enmity and say Ill’allah! … Fill in our hearts only Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala … Feel that all the filth is just being thrown out and is being washed away completely! … And now, the Noor of Allah is coming into our hearts and making our hearts bright!” (Moulana Naeem Motala Saheb DB)
