وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ
And for part of the night also praise thou Him, – and at the retreat of the stars! ~ Surah At-Tur 52:49

2 Sunnat-e-Mua’kaddah Of Fajr Salaah

• It is extremely virtuous to pray the two rakaats Sunnah- e-Mua’kaddah ie. before the two Fard rakaats of Fajr Salaah

Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam would pray them lightly (meaning he would not lengthen them)

• It is Sunnah to recite Surah al-Kafiroon in the first rakaah and Surah al-Ikhlaas in the second rakaah of the Fajr Sunnah prayers

Ahadeeth Pertaining To The Sunnah Of Fajr Salaah

Hazrat A’isha RA relates that the  Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam said, “The two Rakaats of (the Sunnah of) Fajr are better than the world and all it contains.” [Muslim]

Hazrat  Abu Hurairah RA reported: Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam recited in the two Sunnah Rakaah of the Fajr prayer, Surah Al-Kafirun (in the first Rakaah), and Surah Al-Ikhlas (in the second Rakaah) ~Muslim

Hazrat Abu Hurayra RA narrates that Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam said, “Do not abandon the sunnah rakaats of Fajr, even if horses trample over you.” (Sunan Abu Dawud 1:186, Athar al-Sunan 1:224)

`Tamanna-e Haram  ~ Desire to be in Madinah

Poetry of Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Shafee’ SB (RA)

Hazrat (RA)  says :

`This desire and longing to be in Madinah …

`How I wish that I could be a dweller (a citizen) of Madinah Munawwarah …

`All the time, day and night, on my lips, is the Durood and Salaam upon Nabi Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam …

___

`The Kalimah ‘La ilaaha illallah’ is a shield (protection) of my life and when the time comes for me to leave this world, this Kalimah must be (the words) on my tongue …

`What a great fortune it is to make Sajdah (Salaat) in the Mehraab of Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam …

`Suddenly I see the Raudha Mubaarak in front of me and then proceed to stand before the Muwaajah-e-Shareef (The Raudha Mubaarak/Blessed Grave of Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam) …

`And with feeling, with enjoyment, I am saying the Durood and Salaam … engrossed and consumed …

___

`The scene and sight of every other person standing there …

Saying “As salaatu Wassalaamu alaika Ya Rasulallaah”

`What a beautiful scene!

___

`I wish to be living in the city of Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam …

`In Madinah, which is a Riyaadul Jannah (Garden from Jannah), should be my place of residence …

`That person that Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam says “He is my Ghulaam (my Ummati, my true follower)”, then the fire of Jahannam most certainly becomes Haraam for that person. …

True `Ushaaq (True Lovers) of Allah Ta’ala and Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam

When a person has true `Ishq (love) for someone, then that love pulls him towards the house of the lover. Anything about the beloved, any sound, any news, will catch his eye and he will immediately want to listen to it.

When one has the desire to be close to Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam, then a yearning to be standing at the Raudah Mubaruk, sending Durood and Salaam upon Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam and a longing to be a dweller of Madinah Munawwarah resides in one’s heart. One’s heart will be attached to Madinah, even though one is situated far away from Madinah.

May Allah Ta’ala make us True `Ushaaq (True Lovers) of Himself and Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam

The Road of Sabr and Shukr

bismillahh

 إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍۢ شَكُورٍۢ

Verily in this are Signs for every (soul that is) patiently constant and grateful ~ Surah Saba 34:19

There are two roads for a believer to reach Allah, ie : Sabr and Shukr >

The road of Sabr is quite difficult and challenging, and although we all have to experience some Sabr in our life, we should desire that Allah Ta’ala make us reach Him through the road of Shukr (by being blessed with the countless favours of Allah Ta’ala and then truly appreciating these bounties and being loyal, sincere, obedient servants of Allah Ta’ala).

We will be tested on the road of Sabr,  and due to our weak Imaan, we may not be able to exercise Sabr over the tests and trials that we will be faced with … Hence, the journey through that road becomes daunting.

However, both roads of Sabr and Shukr bring about great blessings and reward for the believer.

Both these roads lead to Allah Ta’ala …

…

Our Beloved Rasulullaah Sallallaahu alyhi Wasallam said:

“How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one else but the believer. If some good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If some harm afflicts him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.”  (Muslim Shareef)

DOWNLOAD > ZIKR OF THE NAME ‘ALLAH’ ~ (3 MINUTES)

…..

When we make the Zikr of Allah, we remove from our hearts the filth that has accumulated and infested our hearts … (pride, jealousy, anger, the love for dunya, greed, etc)

We should say “Laa (No)” to all those things that corrode and clog our hearts and take us away from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala …

With the Zikr of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, we are taking a scrubbing brush and scrubbing our hearts and we should feel all the filth coming out and being washed away

Cleanse, purify and fill your heart with the Love of Allah …
