بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّـهُ أَحَدٌ * اللَّـهُ الصَّمَدُ * لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ * وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One. Allah, the Self-Sufficient. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” Surah Ikhlaas ~ Quraan :112

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ * مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ * وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ * وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ *

Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evil of that which He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies.” Surah Falaq ~ Quraan :113

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ * مَلِكِ النَّاسِ * إِلـَٰهِ النَّاسِ * مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ * مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ *

Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind. The Sovereign of mankind. The God of mankind. From the evil of the retreating whisperer. Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind. From among the jinn and mankind.” Surah Naas ~ Quraan :114

Hadith

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ خُبَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ خَرَجْنَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ مَطِيرَةٍ وَظُلْمَةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ نَطْلُبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي لَنَا – قَالَ فَأَدْرَكْتُهُ فَقَالَ ‏”‏ قُلْ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَلَمْ أَقُلْ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ قَالَ ‏”‏ قُلْ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَلَمْ أَقُلْ شَيْئًا ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏”‏ قُلْ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ مَا أَقُولُ قَالَ ‏”‏ قُلْ ‏:‏ ‏(‏ هوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ‏)‏ وَالْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ حِينَ تُمْسِي وَتُصْبِحُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ تَكْفِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ‏”‏ ‏‏ : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3575

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Khubayb Radiyallahu Anhu narrated : We went out one rainy and intensely dark night to look for Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam to lead us in prayer. When I found him, he said: Say! But I did not say anything. So he said: Say! … But I did not say anything … He said: Say! … So I said : What am I to say? He said: Say: “Qul huwallaahu Ahad and Al-Mu’awwadhatain (Surah Falaq and Surah Naas) three times in the morning and evening; it will suffice you from everything” (it will protect you from all evil) ~ Tirmidhi.
