للّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أسْـأَلُـكَ خَـيْرَ هـذا الـيَوْم ، فَـتْحَهُ ، وَنَصْـرَهُ ، وَنـورَهُ وَبَـرَكَتَـهُ ، وَهُـداهُ ، وَأَعـوذُ بِـكَ مِـنْ شَـرِّ ما فـيهِ وَشَـرِّ ما بَعْـدَه

Allaahumma ‘innee ‘as’aluka khayra haathal-yawm: Fathahu wa nasrahu wa noorahu, wa barakatahu, wa hudaahu, wa’a’oothu bika min sharri maafeehi wa sharri maa ba’dahu

O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this day, its victory, its help,

its light, its blessings, and its guidance. I seek refuge in You from

the evil that is in it and from the evil that follows it.

Hazrat Thawban RA narrates that when Nabi Sallaallahu alayhi wa Sallam used to finish salaah He (Sallaallahu alayhi wa Sallam) used to recite Istighfaar thrice and then recite:

 

 اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ تَبَارَكْتَ ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

“O Allah You are peace and from You is peace. Blessed are You, O the being of Majesty and Honour”

• Praise Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala with His Beautiful Names and Qualities

• Send Durood upon our Beloved Nabi Sallaallahu alayhi wa Sallam

• Make sincere Taubah and Istighfaar

• Beg Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala for all your needs

• Send Durood on Nabi Sallaallahu alayhi wa Sallam towards the conclusion of the Dua again.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA reported that Rasulullaah Sallallaahu Alyhi Wasallam said: “Whoever sits in a gathering and indulges in idle talk and before getting up supplicates: `Subhaanaka-Allaahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu allaah ilaaha illaa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilayka’, he will be forgiven for (the sins he may have intentionally or unintentionally committed) in that assembly.” (Tirmidhi)

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Subhaanaka-Allaahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu allaah ilaaha illaa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilayka

Purity belongs to You. O Allah with Your praises, I bear witness that there is non worthy of worship except You. I seek forgiveness from You and I repent to You.
