“I was a young boy under the care of Rasulullaah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam. My hand used to wander all over the plate, so Rasulullaah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam told me: ‘O young boy, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is directly in front of you.’” ~ Bukhari and Muslim

“I saw Rasulullaah Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam eating with three fingers, and when he had finished he would lick them.” ~ Muslim
