Hadith pertaining to Interest (Riba’)
Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3327 ~ Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas’ud : Rasullulah Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam, cursed the one who accepted usury, the one who paid it, the witness to it, and the one who recorded it.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.840 ~ Narrated by Abu Huraira : Rasullulah Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, “Avoid the seven great destructive sins.” They (the people) asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! What are they?” He said, “To join partners in worship with Allah; to practice sorcery; to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law); to eat up usury (Riba), to eat up the property of an orphan; to give one’s back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield at the time of fighting and to slander chaste innocent simple believing women.”

“Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala discuses about His Might! … His Perfection! … His Sifaat (Qualities) … He is Allah! … There is no one worthy of worship besides Allah … Allah is the knower of the Unseen (that which is hidden) and the Seen … Allah has knowledge of all those things that have occurred in the past … Allah has knowledge of all that is in the present … Allah has knowledge of all that is going to take place in the future … Allah has knowledge of everything! … Nothing is hidden from Allah”...

Ma’qal bin Yasaar (RadiAllahu Anhu) reports the the Messenger of Allah (SalAllahu Alayhi Wasalam) as saying;
“He who recites the last three verses of Surah al-Hashr in the morning after saying; “A’oozu Billaahis -samee’ il-‘aleemi minash-Shaytaan ir-rajeem ” three times (I seek refuge with Allah, the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, from the accursed Shaytaan) for him Allah will appoint seventy-thousand angels to beseech mercy for him until the evening, and if he dies the same day he will be given the status of a martyr, and if he recites the verses in the evening the same will apply to him till morning”

Narrated by Hazrat Abu Yusuf Abdullah bin Salam Radiallahu Anhu
Abdullah heard Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam say: ‘O believers! Spread the ‘Salams’ (greetings), feed (the poor and needy), join ties with family relations, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter Paradise in peace.’
