Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar Radiyallaahu Anhu : Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam stood up amongst the people and then praised and glorified Allah, and then he mentioned “Dajjaal”, saying, “I warn you of him (Dajjaal). The Emergence of Dajjaal

By reciting the Kalaam of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala, making Zikrullah, Istighfaar, and sending Salaat and Salaam upon Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, one’s heart feels the effects of Ghunaah (Sins) coming out of the heart.
The Haqeeqat (Reality) of Zikr is to remove the Ghuflat (Negligence) from a person. We move towards Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala, but when we become heedless and negligent, then we move off this road (path). Shaytaan and Nafs pull us towards every other direction other than the Siraatul Mustaqeem (the straight path).

A Zaakir engages in Zikr, trying to concentrate and ponder over the greatness of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala. He engages in Zikr with ‘the tongue of his mouth’ together with the ‘tongue of his heart’. ie: The Dil (heart) and Zubaan (tongue) simultaneously make the Zikr of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala …
Through the barakah of making Zikr everyday, the Ghuflat (Negligence) and sins are removed from the heart.
